Sanford Marshall - Auctioneer

When Sanford Marshall hits the stage, he brings a unique combination of acting, event planning, and emcee skills to create an entertaining and engaging auction performance. Sanford has served as emcee and auctioneer for a variety of non-profits, foundations, and corporate organizations in the Bay Area and beyond, including the Olympic Club Foundation, Samsung, Montessori de Terra Linda, Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, and Ngozi Educational and Healthcare Foundation .

Sanford is a professional actor on both stage and screen and has 30 national and regional commercials to his credits. Brands such as John Deere, Visa and PG&E have trusted him to represent their regional and national campaigns. He has also performed on stage with San Jose Repertory Theatre, San Jose Stage Company as well as The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. 

Sanford is also an accomplished event planner, and he utilizes this background to work with you in advance of your event to set the stage for success. Combined with his acting background, great sense of humor and the technical skills of auctioneering, Sanford creates an experience that is truly engaging.

But at the heart of his passion for fundraising is the difference he is makes by helping organizations realize their philanthropic potential. “Without Fundraising Events many people in underserved communities won’t receive the help they need,” says Sanford. “We can’t let that happen. This is about locking arms for a great cause and being committed to the purpose of Paying it Forward.”
